After drawing [link] for shits and giggles, my friend

suggested I make it into a contest! So now we have theee:

MARY-SUE CONTEST

Yes, be afraid! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create the biggest, craziest, worst Mary-Sue the world has ever known! Create his/her stunning good looks, give him/her awesome powers and perhaps a tragic past. Sum it all up in a picture and profile and good luck! Remember, be creative or just go nuts with it!

Deadline

Sunday the 10th of August, that gives you a little over a month!

Voting

Voting will be from the 11th-13th August. You can only vote once and not for yourself.

Rules

Your Mary-Sue can be from the following fandoms: Naruto, Deathnote, Fullmetal Alchemist, Avatar: The Last Airbender or Harry Potter.

If you want your Mary-Sue to be from different fandom, send me a note and I'll consider it.

You can submit up to two entries.

A picture, comic, story, whatever you want to do, go for it!

It's like a super powerful and perfect over the top fanmade character, and they often have tragic pasts. That's it in a nutshell. A good example of Mary-Sue is my picture: [link] but you can also find some other good examples searching deviantART!

Okay, my definition of a mary sue is something that is might be fun to write, but eye-stabbing and illogical to read.

0mg, s@r4h is like sasuke's boyfriend! (yeah i got lazy halfway.)

So other examples are they are so powerful it's just lame, and all the character love them, and there is no reality to them what-so ever.

If THATS to complicated, read choc-alchemists mary sue wannabe, and hopefully your eyes will burn with it's awful ness.

It's down to a character with no flaws that no one can relate too, and no one could exist while both gravity and logic exist.

Mary sues also have been known to have really bad 'tragic' pasts that make you want to puke rather than feel sorry for them. Also, they don't tend to be truely affected by this past, as they act like sunshine and rainbows after years of torture with rusty knifes with not a scratch on them.

Also, Mary-Sue comes from the generic-ness of the character. Both mary and sue are commen names, thus, when you have a unbelieve-able character, and it is so random we dubb it 'mary sue'

Also, you should put each character through a mary sue test (online ones are somewhere) to help with judging.
